THE VOTE FOR THE MPS

The mpigs on spotlight during the famous parliament demos....

We did wake up early in the morning to vote for them 4th march 2013 you remember yeah right. When the Majority leader made one of the most irresponsible statements I have ever heard that they are the representation of the people and that by asking for the raise they do so in condition it was the people indirectly. What popped in my mind and for sure should also to you WE HAD MADE one grave mistake. The same crop of leaders but different timing. The same game but different faces. To make it worse they are even openly disregarding the salaries commission, the Activist and pleas of Kenyans at large. Am not against them for claiming what they say it’s their rightful position to earn such a handsome sum. As per this week’s motion on their salaries which without a doubt will sail through and enacting new faces in the SRC you will witness one unique spectacle where all the MPs from both divides speaking in one voice. All could have been avoided if we had taken our voting rights a bit more seriously and keenly. Than making all these noise and doing demos about how greedy they are. How many would really ascertain that they made out what all these politicians had in their manifestos.
But on the presidential front we did make some strides the debate; the manifestos were questioned, personal wealth declared. I hope these could be applied to not only MPs, Senators as per the order.  To really scrutinize the leaders we are electing in all these capacities.
