After taking a hiatus for some time, his music described as a blend of Soul and RnB, with an injection of hip hop laced with a jazz flavor signified Kenya in the continent’s music scene. His music led to Swa’RnB being created (Swahili RnB). His most famous song is Kitangoma; it got massive airplay on radio stations across the East African Region. You got to marvel and appreciate technology. Even though it took time for all this kind of techies to actually come to light and be accepted it was only the other day PHONES were invented. With other apps that are build and still are coming through, it is quite fascinating to find that there quite a lot of apps that could make your life easier. From ones that help manage your money, health care, schedules…. And for fun there are games, music, videos. Did I mention online shopping, yeah that too is possible from your phone, with all these powerful technologies just available in your pocket. It is more than just looking cool having a smart phone.

An abundance of online breast cancer information from popularity of smartphones, paired with the growing prominence of social media world, has given breast cancer awareness digital presence that extends beyond medical terminology.
The digital penetration can potentially ease the uncertainty of a breast cancer. This is definitely a push in the effort for the activist.
With many risk factors that can increase your chance of developing breast cancer. It is about time we give breast cancer a boot, let’s take our ladies test for breast cancer, be it our mothers, daughters, girlfriends, wives and not forgetting men too and learn more about this silent killer disease.

UWEZO FUNDS
The Uwezo Fund is a youth and women’s fund. This has its origination in the pledge of His Excellency the President made to allocate the Kshs. 6 billion that was meant for the presidential run-off to youth and women groups.
Objectives of Uwezo fund:
1.To expand access to finance through grants and credit to promote youth and women businesses and enterprises at the constituency level, thereby enhancing economic growth towards the realization of the goals of Vision 2030;
2.To generate gainful self-employment for Kenyan youth and women;
3.To model an alternative framework in funding community driven development.
How to Apply
1. Sign up for Capacity building programme
2. Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria
3. Fill in application form ( available at the Constituency Uwezo Fund Management Committee office and on the Uwezo Fund website)

1.Form a group and register an enterprise with the Registrar of Companies’ Offices in Nairobi or anywhere else wherever they are located. You may do so as a sole trader, partnership, limited company, association, etc.
2.Get clearance from the Youth Enterprise Fund if you are youth; Women Gender Directorate if a woman; and, certification from National Council for Persons with Disability if you are a person with disability.
3.Register the enterprise with the National Treasury in Nairobi or any County Treasury office. PPOA shall publish the names of all registered groups in the PPOA website (www.ppoa.go.ke).
4.Visit any public entity of the National or County Governments anywhere in the country to seek for procurement opportunities. Public entities may advertise procurement opportunities in their

Man of Steel
Another Superman epic is soon to grace our screens, for hero comics’ lovers it is truly worth looking forward to. “Steel” still follows the traditional Superman origin story of the bay Kal-El being sent to earth after his home planet Krypton is destroyed. The baby Kal-El becomes Clark Kent on earth who struggles with his identity and superpowers in relation to his fellow Earthlings. Then there is General Zod and his army who come to seek out Krypton’s last survivor to collect a codex which could recreate and repopulate Krypton. However, the General decides that is Earth is as good as any place to recreate their home plane even if it means wiping out the human population and this where Superman comes in.
With some critics beaming it has a weak story line and ratings still not convincing (most blockbusters have all been regarded like this and endup being hits) the effects are over the roof and fast pace chase through skies is … and everyone knows Superman is the beloved hero character with fans rooting hit to be a hit so to h**** with criticizing and yapping on reviews.

But what captures my thoughts most is the the Lead Clark Kent portrayed by Henry Cavill the despite being dubbed “Unluckiest Man in Hollywood” as he was regarded for the role in McG’s Superman: Flyby, however as McG pulled out of the project and Bryan Singer took over as director. He recast Brandon Routh as lead in Superman Return instead of Cavill. Again Cavill was the cause of a write-in effort from fans to see him as Cedric in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The role however went to Robert Pattinson. In Stephenie Meyer Twilight series despite being favoured by author for Edward Cullen even when production started Cavill was too old to play the character and again Robert Pattison carried the day in 2005. He was again the final contender for role of James Bond in Casino Royale. Love Relationship technology on the same line that’s the 21st century evolution of life. Billions of songs have written about it, every person over the world claims to have experienced it in some part their life and that’s love for you. Few decades ago the mention of technology only brought about the thinking of machinery or designed moving flawless metal kind of stuff. But now it is all about internet, computers, apps… as much our lives have been changed with technology more so our love life, relationships, dating and even marriages have all been either kind way been affected it.
On technology has it brought us closer, yes of course by now the meaning of a global village has sunk in. you know chatting with someone who is miles away, even to extend of visual chatting. This is more than a plus for guys to connect with their gfs, bfs and spouses as communication plays one of the biggest roles in maintaining a relationship. As much there is dating online setups that are meant for you to get the person of your dreams I support that too. In our current times their so many guys who have met online and got hitched which is really kind of unbelievable but really really cool. You never know in life how you will end up finding your better half after all love and relationship is a risk just like passion for business.
With the success stories of Technology love and relationship there is also the other side of the coin. Some relationships are being affected, like on Facebook the estimate 80% of guys monitor their girlfriend’s actions and end up drawing wrong conclusions that weighs down the steps taken in the relationship. This draws conclusion that a lot of relationship have wilted, broken through the wrong use of technology. Then there are other versions related to dating sites which only offers sexual availability. These kinds only hook you up with intention of sex with no strings attached, truly immoral and no respect to relationship values. And of late it has spread to our social sites where you chat and derail your values as a person.
In a person I believe that positive thinking holds all the power, as technology is evolving everyday so is life and more so our relationships, so there here to stay. The best or most advisable way is to encourage good moral values, use and application of technology in our love life; because it is possible and proven you can find love and stay in love in a relationship with the current advancement in technology…

You Tube effect
I am sure every time you see the Julius Yego ad “I am the You Tube athlete” (You Tube man) you wonder what on earth he was thinking to start something like that on You tube. What will make you even wonder more is how many more people launched or were even propelled in their careers by using You Tube. PYS is now the all-time You Tube Superstar; his song “Gangnam style” made him famous as it the hit surpass 1 billion mark view on the same platform You Tube. Now with his new single-Gentleman launched this year is also breaking record on “22 plus million views in less than day” on You Tube’s press release last month. And the best of all who knew Justin Bieber was made from You Tube to concur the world if it wasn’t for his You Tube videos that made Talent manager Scooter Braun to make move on him and actually sign him. That was in 2008 then with that unique boyish hairdo that made waves in Youtube.
A side from entertainment there is the ‘Khan Academy’. Khan offers over 1,400 tutorials, teaching about everything from Math and finance, to physics, chemistry and biology. So with videos like the Khan academy on You Tube all you need internet access and you’re in class.
The You Tube revolution is pretty incredible from making the world smaller by travelling by just the click of a single button. It takes things a step further on learning about places and cultures around the world from the actual people that live there. Not forgetting the platform for spreading truth and inciting change, posting videos to the world on first-hand what is going on countries happenings. As to the revolt that sprang up and swept the Arab world demonstrating about their civil issues; You Tube was used very much.
